Executive Team:

CRAIG PFENT

Craig Pfent is the founder and President of FlexTech. He guided the growth and development of FlexTech from startup to a nationwide information systems consulting company, which has grown to over 70 employees since 1989. Craig assesses and pursues new business opportunities for FlexTech and provides overall guidance for the Executive Team. He has been involved in managed care IT since the early 1980s, and his insightful understanding of this ever-changing industry has helped steer FlexTech to its present position as the leading third-party consultant company in its tier for all the major healthcare software vendors.

MARLENE OVERHEUL

Marlene Overheul is the Vice President of FlexTech, and has worked in the payor market for over 20 years. Her high level of industry expertise is evident in the many responsibilities she has at FlexTech, including creating and supervising our Project Management Team, managing existing client relationships and forging new vendor alliances. She is also in charge of operations at FlexTech, directing day-to-day functions, company steering activities, assessment of new project requirements and determining human resource needs.

CRAIG PENROSE

In his role as Director of Business, Assessment and Procurement Consulting at FlexTech, Craig Penrose has been instrumental in developing and ensuring the success of FlexTech's Business Consulting Services. He is also the developer and director of FlexTech's System Selection service. Craig has worked in the managed care industry since 1986. During this time he has managed numerous implementations and re-engineering efforts, as well as system and business assessments, conversions and client-training sessions.

DAVE MUNSON

Dave Munson serves as Director of Business Development at FlexTech, and has been working in the managed healthcare field since 1986. As a key member of FlexTech's Executive Team, he takes an active role in company steering activities, as well as expanding our resource base and overseeing training needs. Dave manages a Professional Services Staff of 30+ consultants across various software platforms, most notably on TriZetto's QNXT product. His responsibilities include establishing and maintaining strong client and vendor relationships, supervising workflow to project completion and assuring service delivery.

CHRIS KORNACKI

Chris Kornacki, as Director of Consulting Services for FlexTech, is responsible for our staff of TriZetto Facets consultants. He works to develop the training and expertise of our current staff as well as finding and recruiting new talent. As an active member of FlexTech's Executive Team, Chris provides direction to company planning and policy activities. Working in the IT industry since 1994, his areas of expertise include Finance & Underwriting, Operations (Claims and Customer Service), Medical Affairs and Information Systems.

MARK KULAK

As Director of Planning and Implementation with FlexTech, Mark Kulak has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He has held leadership positions at several large healthcare organizations working with Medicaid, Medicare, HMO, POS, PPO, Self-Funded, Behavioral Health and Dental applications. He has managed numerous system implementations, including the vendor relationship. Mr. Kulak plays a key role in the development of implementation planning as well as actively participating in strategic management activities.
