Once these needs are documented and prioritized, the Payor Functionality Matrix defines those vendor systems with the best fit. Using the results generated by the Payor Functionality Matrix, a product review is performed with key administrative personnel, followed by the generation of RFPs and/or RFIs, demonstrations and site visits, and the evaluation of outstanding issues in preparation for the final selection of a new system.
